VW commercial have released more details regarding the T7, debuting sometime in June the Multivan Bulli, the iconic people mover will have a longer wheel base and wider tracks to increase internal space and will switch to the MQB platform.
Also featuring an extra window at the A pillar, the look really harks back to a simpler time with thte T1, first produced in 1950, the character line also resembles the old T3 and the hood is derived from the T4. The teaser images also include a sparkly and digital dash similar to the Golk Mk8 dashboard design with two screens, a small gear switch for the auto transmission, VW will do away completely with a manual transmission and traditional handbrake to maximise space in the front. The plan is for VW (and partners) to conitnue delivering the T6.1 as the more traditional workhorse, with no plans to change its underpinnings anytime soon.
